Well, actually I just know so far that I will be in Kyoto Prefecture. I have no clue where in the prefecture I will be. I could be down in the city, or up in the mountains, or out by the sea. All I know is that we got our first choice again, and I can’t believe it… again. Now I only beg that the powers that be noticed that I wrote technology, technology, TECHNOLOGY many times on my application and even told the interviewers explicitly that I NEEDED to be at a school that wanted me there for that purpose.
The wait continues… until then, here is a 10 year old picture, from probably my 3rd or 4th trip to Kyoto city. Yes, you can drive under the gate… it is awesome.
